What do you think of smoking? Smoking is dangerous and sometimes fatal, isn't it? The topic of smoking has been argued for a long time especially in public places.Smoking in public places has become the subject of chief concern, and people seem to be at odds and be separated into two groups, - those, who follow the belief that smoking in public places, must be banned, and these people who think that smoking in public places should be permitted. The objective of the current study is to shed lights on smoking in public places, as well as to raise consciousness of persons regarding smoking and its dangers. This study shows the viewpoints of the two sides, those who are for and those who are against. So, let's see how this proves that smoking is harmful.

As we know the danger of smoking is so big. Therefore, we can have different solutions to this problem. First, our schools and universities can have a good role in spreading the danger of it among students and ordinary people. Second, we have different ways to fight it. We can create and specify special places for smokers and others for non-smokers, where each party can enjoy their freedom without violating the other one’s freedom. There should be places that are particularly fitted out for the smokers. Besides, smokers can participate in the activity of public civil services supporting healthy lifestyle, and to raise public consciousness of smoking hazards and second hand or passive smoking as well. Smokers should also understand that smoking in public places actually troubles others, as well as understand the significance of regarding other people's rights. Besides, whole workplace structures have burned to the ground due to somebody smoking inside their workplaces. So, smoking should be banned due to the harm it may cause to workplace constructions. Around three million persons in the world expire from diseases related to smoking each year. So, the government should sanction the trades of tobacco products. This would affect health system that wouldn't need to spend a lot of money on cancer or health diseases .The chemical in tobacco smoke may get the heart veins very narrow, making the heart attack very possible. So, a little quantity of oxygen comes to the heart. As a result of this, the heart has to work harder and harder that is why heart attacks are caused. It is obvious that those who smoke are more often exposed to diseases than nonsmokers. They catch bad colds and lung illness that is known as bronchitis. More than 4,000 harmful chemicals are found in passive smoke.

Ear infections and asthma infections are more common in kids who are often close to smokers. In fact, second hand smokers are more exposed to danger than to smoke directly. An individual who is smoking in public places influences the youth so badly to the extent that they are becoming heavy smokers themselves. Similarly, they could be stimulated to smoke and addict other health-destroying drugs.

With the help of different social organizations, some governments are to spread awareness of the danger of smoking among students at schools and universities. They dedicate certain subjects to its danger. Other governments prohibit smoking inside or outside their offices. Also, they impose heavy fines to the ones who violate the law. Other governments use the media to show the different effects of smoking. Some organizations are to put up signs of smoking prohibition on the walls of public places while others use local and international newspapers and magazines to warn people against smoking. They also use technology such as the internet and smart phones to send messages, emails and show special websites for the danger of smoking.

From the above mentioned data, we can conclude that smoking is very dangerous; it has been opposed by many people in the society as a result of awareness of its negative effects and danger such as cancer, lung and stomach diseases along with disturbing peoples’ life. So the governments and peoples have taken measures and steps to prohibit it in public places by spreading awareness and giving fines to the people who violate the law. As a result some European and American countries have prohibited it from their public places and fortunately, they have succeeded in their mission. They enjoy healthy life without the ghost of smokers in buses, offices, restaurants, parks and so on.
